Individual Therapy

Suffering is an unavoidable part of being human.  But living with it can be too much sometimes.  Anxiety can become demonstrative and make the world appear threatening.  Depression can make us feel as if the walls are closing in.  Our means to cope can often become self-destructive, or put us in conflict with ourselves.  It can be a struggle to believe something different is possible.

Turning and facing the feeling of being stuck and overwhelmed takes courage.  But when someone hears you without trying to shape your life or take responsibility for it, it can actually feel quite good.

I aim to help you understand your own personal strengths.  To understand and remember what is important to you.  To help you learn what direction you want to lead your life.  To help you remember the things that work for you.

Trauma-Informed Care

If you've suffered trauma, and you're still going on with life, you're doing something right.  Trauma is a horrific ordeal, made worse by its insistence on being relived over and over.
